The Atkins Diet will accompany us for a longer period and help us to quickly lose all that fat that is left over time. Cutting Carbohydrates From Your Diet: The new Atkins plan is based on the intake of foods that are rich in protein and fiber. This means almost completely eliminating carbohydrates from our diet. For those that cut carbohydrates out of their diet, it will be easier to lose weight.

Gradually Adding Carbs to Your Diet: You do not have to worry if you like carbohydrates though, the thing that you will have to do is gradually add carbohydrates to your daily life so that your body assimilates and properly digests the carbs properly without adding fat.

Some Carbs Are Necessary: In addition, if you want to lead a healthy life in which you stay in the correct weight for life it is essential that you eat some types of carbohydrates, because they provide a number of nutrients that are necessary and fundamental for your body.

Phase One of the Atkins Diet: The maximum duration of this phase is 2 weeks. In this first stage we will begin to burn fat which is equal to a loss of weight that occurs rapidly. So in order to lose this weight quickly, we must take the following steps:

  • Eat 5 times a day
  • Eat at least 150g of meat, fish, shellfish, eggs or dairy at every meal, including breakfast.
  • Consume 20 grams of carbohydrates that we find in certain vegetables.
  • To rehydrate, drink only water and tea.
  • Phase Two of the Atkins Diet

Here, the laws are less stringent and we can start to enjoy the pleasure of eating while still losing weight because the variety of foods and their proportions increases and we are allowed to eat more. Here are some of the features of phase two:

  • Consume up to 25 grams of carbohydrates
  • Add cheeses such as mozzarella, and nuts and berries to our regime
  • Phase Three of the Atkins Diet

In the penultimate stage we will focus on way to lose those pounds that separate us from our goal and retrain our body in the assimilation of carbohydrates to prevent weight gain. This allows us to easily reach our weight loss goal. We will then end this weight loss program with our weight goal that we set and that suits us. At this point, all we have to do is “find a personal balance of carbohydrates” and enjoy life. This allows you to keep off the weight that you worked so hard to burn.
